This piece is a part of my sustained investigation and reflects a part of growing up, and the teenage experience. This piece showcases the pressure students are under to be perfect, where their achievements are expected and their failures are observed and critiqued. It shows the pressure placed on High School students and the constant pursuit of perfection.

This piece is also a part of my sustained investigation. It reflects the importance of having a mentor, growing up alongside them and the pain of when they have to leave. This piece reflects my brother who is my best friend. He helped me grow and when he left for college I looked back on the memories and growth we shared.

This piece is also a part of my sustained investigation. This piece focuses on searching for identity in high school. After I stopped playing basketball I felt directionless and like my identity was missing. This piece reflects how we can feel like we are drowning in pursuit of who we are.
